Foreign Medical Graduate Licentiate Regulations 2021

The National Medical Commission of India has introduced the Foreign Medical Graduate Licentiate (FMGL) Regulations 2021 to ensure that foreign medical graduates meet the same standards as their Indian counterparts. This regulation aims to provide quality healthcare services to the people of India by ensuring that all foreign medical graduates meet the minimum requirements set by the NMC.

Mandatory Guidelines:

To be compliant with FMGL 2021, foreign medical graduates must meet the following mandatory guidelines:

Theoretical, practical and clinical training should be equivalent to the MBBS course in India. Yes
